Debra here again with another thrift store lamp and a few other finds. The last lamp was this great Lily Pad Lamp. This time the lamp is a cast iron and brass base with a milk glass shade.
The socket for the bulb is 1.5 inches so we haven’t been able to test it yet. We haven’t found an adapter locally so we will have to order one.
And, we got these wonderful silver rimmed crystal cocktail glasses. These feed my addiction for vintage barware. And now that we have a bar (which we have not redone yet) these were the perfect addition.
Some of the silver is damaged but we still like them, and for $3.99 for eight of them we couldn’t pass them up.
This week we also scored these really cool vintage Ballonoff canisters. All of our jewelry supplies and findings are stored in old tins and boxes so these will work perfectly for that and add a bit of color.
And finally, we picked up this very cute black iron and glass vase. Here it is on the mantel with the faux mercury glass votive holder we made.
And here it is with the DIY wire cloche we made last year beside one of the lovely burnt orange chairs we picked up a couple of weeks ago.
We have been participating in Thrift Score Thursday through Instagram. This is hosted by Trish from Black and White Obsession, Megan from Rental Revival and Brynne from The Gathered Home. Please go check them out and post some of your own finds.
Have you found any great finds lately?
