As we’ve said before, we love a great thrifty find. Finding really great things at really great prices is quite addictive.
If you are decorating on a budget thrift stores are great resources. In our experience, the best deals are found at the smaller local thrift stores instead of the chain type thrift stores. We have two small church thrift stores nearby where we find really great deals. You may spend a whole day searching and not find anything and then you may end up with a car load in just one trip but for us the thrill is in the hunt. Especially when we find really cute items like these. Here are some of our recent thrifty finds.
This is an Andrea by Sadek Tea for One set. Picked up this beautiful set for $4.99 at a local thrift store. Love finding beautiful things for less, much less. Raechel is our tea drinker and has tried to lay claim to this one. I’m thinking I like this one for myself but maybe I’ll share.
This piece is actually a desk. I picked it up at a church thrift store for $40. We removed the upper center drawer and are using it as a TV stand in our media room. I’ve thought about painting it but am still not sure what color to use so for now it is still wood.
This is a beautiful framed print I picked up for $19. It is hanging in the library for now.
This one is actually a framed canvas probably from the 70’s. I bought this for $4.
This is a VERY large canvas Raechel found for $20. She plans to strip the finish off and paint over the lovely 80’s pastel whatever this is.
